Senate Votes Down Cybersecurity Act, Obama Likely to Sign Executive Order

While a compromised version of the Cybersecurity Act of 2012 was introduced to the Senate in July, the false claims of “. . . foreign governments, criminal syndicates and lone individuals are probing our financial, energy and public safety systems every day. It would be the height of irresponsibility to leave a digital backdoor wide open to our cyber adversaries” was perpetuated by President Obama.

Shawn Henry, a veteran of the cyber security division in the FBI, stated in a CBS interview that although he has no proof, Russia and China are behind infiltration and damage to computers in America, while also claiming that he feels it is “very, very likely” that a massive cyber-attack is due to occur.

According to Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, Obama may just write an executive order to ensure his cybersecurity agenda is implemented. “In the wake of Congressional inaction and Republican stall tactics, unfortunately, we will continue to be hamstrung by outdated and inadequate statutory authorities that the legislation would have fixed. Moving forward, the President is determined to do absolutely everything we can to better protects our nation against today’s cyber threats and we will do that.”

Fed “Independence” Is a Scam … And No Reason to Prevent a Full Audit

via: WashingtonsBlog
July 25, 2012

Independent from Congress … or from the American People?

Congress will vote tomorrow on auditing the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve says that an audit will interfere with it’s “independence”. For example, in Congressional testimony on 2009, the vice chair of the Fed used the “i” word 30 times.

Democratic whip Steny Hoyer is urging Dems to vote no on auditing the Fed in order to preserve the Fed’s “independence”:

This bill impedes the independence of this critical institution. In order for the Federal Reserve to do its job effectively, it should not be subject to short-term political pressures.

Hoyer doesn’t speak for the wishes of Democrats.  The overwhelming majority of Americans favor a full and complete audit, and disagree with the “independence” argument.  For example, Bloomberg noted in 2010:

A majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the nation’s independent central bank, saying the U.S. Federal Reserve should either be brought under tighter political control or abolished outright, a poll shows.

Americans across the political spectrum say the Fed shouldn’t retain its current structure of independence. Asked if the central bank should be more accountable to Congress, left independent or abolished entirely, 39 percent said it should be held more accountable and 16 percent that it should be abolished. Only 37 percent favor the status quo.

Cybersecurity “Compromise” Distracts From Destruction of Internet Freedoms

July 24, 2012

Last week, “compromise legislation” was brought before the US Senate that will enable federal agencies to assess cyber threats while giving them “permission” to exchange information with corporations “under certain conditions” under the justification of better protecting corporations from cyber-attacks.

Although the threat has not manifested as of yet, President Obama stated that: “. . . foreign governments, criminal syndicates and lone individuals are probing our financial, energy and public safety systems every day. It would be the height of irresponsibility to leave a digital backdoor wide open to our cyber adversaries.”

Obama cited an infection where a Texas water plant had to disconnect their control from the internet in order to save themselves from hackers. Backing up Obama is a report from The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that states they have received 198 “reports” of suspected cyber incidents.

The development of a multi-agency Cybersecurity Council is recommended to mitigate risks to corporations.

Under presidential declaration, the “cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation” and “America’s economic prosperity in the 21st century will depend on cybersecurity.”

In an executive inspired report entitled the Cyberspace Policy Review , Obama has created the Cybersecurity office that works within the National Security Staff oversees the control over broadband networks that collaborate with all forms of infrastructure; including classified military intelligence, the internet, local schools and hospitals and domestic businesses.

By seizing control over our digital communications, under the guise of protecting America against cyber threats, information must be shared between “network operators and defenders, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and emergency management officials in the Federal, State, local, and tribal governments, private industry, and allied governments.”

The Globalist Infiltration: Obama, Israel and the Muslim Brotherhood

July 20, 2012

The global Elite’s puppets are beginning to show their true alliances and rat out each other in an obvious move to find some sort of false sense of security.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann recently accused Huma Abedin, aide to Hillary Clinton US Secretary of State, as being an infiltrated spy for the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). Bachmann says that the US government has been compromised by the MB and Abedin is working for “America’s demise”.

Bachmann pointed out that Abedin has “routine access to [Clinton] and policymaking.”

While her peers have been denouncing her claims, Bachmann asserts that her investigations into federal agencies has turned up conclusions that there is an obvious influence over intelligence operations with regard to foreign policy by the MB within the US government.

Abedin, who is of Pakistani decent, is married to House Representative Anthony Weiner who is Jewish. Weiner is aself-proclaimed Zionist , as he proudly stated: “Support for Israel was always a very big focus in my household growing up. I am a Zionist.”
